How to Make The Red White and Blue Drink Step by Step!

1. Make the Blue Slushie Layer
Gather 3 large freezer safe containers that can be used to store the slushie components. To help everything stay cool (longer) be sure to pre chill your Hawaiian punch and Gatorade completely in the refrigerator before making. This will help everything stay nice and cold and not melt as quickly!
In a blender, combine 2 cups of ice cubes and 1 cup of the blue Hawaiian punch.
Chop and blend, until reaching smooth slushy type consistency. Start your blender on a low setting and work your way up to high (especially if using large ice cubes).
Add extra blue Hawaiian punch, if needed to get it just right. Pour the blue slushy mix into one of the freezer safe containers and place in the freezer while you make the other color layers.

2. Make the White Slushie Layer
Head back to the blender and add 2 more cups of ice, and 1 cup of the Gatorade. Chop and blend until reaching the slushie consistency. Add more Gatorade, if needed. Pour the white slushy mixture into one of the freezer safe containers and move it over to the freezer.

3. Make the Red Slushie Layer
Now we’ll make the LAST layer of this red white and blue drink! Add 2 more cups of ice, and 1 cup of the red Hawaiian punch. Chop and blend until reaching the slushie consistency. Add more red Hawaiian punch to reach the desire flavor and consistency. Pour the red slushy mixture into one of the freezer safe containers and place in the freezer.

4. Assemble Your Red White and Blue Slushie
When you’re ready to serve your drinks grab a few tall, chilled, clear glasses or beer mugs. Scoop in a layer of blue slushie, then a layer of white slushie and finish off with a layer of red slushie. Top with a marachino cherry and Red, White and Blue Paper Straws.
You can really elevate this red white and blue slushie by adding whipped cream, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, Red, White and Blue Sprinkles or even a little puff of store bought cotton candy.
