The best part is that there’s no expensive ink cartridges or toner to buy over and over again! This little printer uses heat to print each custom label which is more eco friendly than traditional inkjet printers.

How to Make Sticker Labels Step by Step
Below is a short video on how to make our DIY Retro Party Favor Treat Bag step by step (written directions and graphics download are below the video). I love how it turned out! It’s a simple and easy party favor for birthdays or retro themed parties. Let me show you how to use the Munbyn Printer step by step- it’s really easy!
STEP ONE- Connect Your Machine & Download the App or Print Drivers
Leave your machine off. Connect your Munbyn Bluetooth Label Printer to your computer using the enclosed USB cable then connect the power cable. Use the provided external USB to download the print drivers to your computer. Run the .exe file to install the print drivers. When complete, turn on your thermal printer.
If you are using a phone or tablet you will download the Munbyn App on your phone or tablet instead. The app is great because you can connect wirelessly to your thermal printer. There are some cute, free graphic downloads you can grab on the app too so be sure to check it out!
STEP TWO- Open Machine Cover, Insert Labels & Align
Open the top of your thermal printer using the latches on either side of the machine. Unroll 2-3 feet of your Munbyn Bluetooth Labels and insert the end into the back of the printer. Thread the label paper through the adjustable, alignment area. Pull enough label paper through so that it goes past the rubber roller located at the front of the printer (see below). Close the top of the machine.
The machine will automatically align the labels for you which is a nice feature. If you prefer to watch a video on how to load up the sticker labels and print you can check out the step by step video I made below:
STEP THREE- Adjust Print Dialogue Box Settings
Open ANY of our 7 FREE retro smiley face files (they are transparent PNGs- they should look dark because they don’t have a white background). Hit the print button to open the print dialogue box. Make sure you’ve selected the Munbyn Thermal printer from the drop down menu (especially if this is your first print). Mine shows as ITPP130 which is close to the model number.
You also want to select the 2″ x 2″ paper size for the Munbyn PINK Thermal Labels we are using. If you are using a larger or different label, select the appropriate size.
Select the number of copies you want…I’d start with 1 to do test run and make sure everything is working as expected.
STEP FOUR- Print Labels
Hit the print button. I wanted to print one of each of the available 7 FREE smiley face graphics so I opened each file and printed one copy of each. After testing you can do 10 at a time or however many you think you will need for your specific project. If you have questions, or encounter any errors be sure to check out the Munbyn Help Center.
STEP FIVE- Place Candy & Party Favors in the Treat Bag
Now that your sticker labels are all printed you can start assembling these retro party favors! I’m stuffing my bags with retro candy like Ring Pops. I’m also including glow in the dark jelly bracelets and neon colored crayons.
STEP SIX- Fold Top of Bag & Seal with a Sticker Label
Once you’ve stuffed your bags you can fold over the top of the bag and seal with the smiley face stickers you just made. I’m mixing and matching- using all seven. But if you have a favorite or two you can use those. There’s no rules!
I hope you enjoyed learning How To Print Sticker Labels at Home with the Munbyn Thermal Printer. You don’t need to be tech savvy & you don’t have to have an expensive Cricut machine to print labels at home for business, crafting or organization!
