EASY DIY Easter Gifts for Friends Supply List
This quick and easy homemade Easter comes together quickly with our free printables which makes it perfect for last minute gifting! For best results print your valentine’s on matte sticker paper or glossy sticker paper. It gives a nice professional finish and makes this homemade Easter craft look professionally made.
Materials:
- Matte sticker paper or glossy sticker paper
- Ball Quilted Crystal 4 Ounce Jars OR Ball Quilted Crystal 12 Ounce Jars
- Bunny or chick themed Easter ribbon
- Cricut cutting machine (optional)
- Chocolate mini eggs
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- FREE PRINTABLE Easter Peeps Label (download at end of tutorial)
How to Make a DIY Easter Gift Step by Step
Below is a short 1 minute video on how you can put this homemade Easter together step by step (written directions are below the video). I love how it turned out! It’s perfect for gifting to friends and coworkers. It could also be an Easter basket stuffer for kids tweens or adults. It looks beautiful sitting on an Easter brunch place setting or for use as a party favor.
STEP ONE- Print our FREE Easter Peeps Label & Trim to Size
Print out our cute Easter Peeps labels onto matte sticker paper or glossy sticker paper (download is at the end of this tutorial). If you don’t have sticker paper on hand you can also use glossy heavy cardstock. You can use a local print shop if you don’t have a printer at home for a small additional cost.
We provide you with two different labels that are meant for regular and wide mouth mason jars. Write any special notes down onto the labels before you cut them out (it’s SO much easier to write on BEFORE the labels are cut).
You can use our cut files to do a “print and cut” in Cricut Design Space OR just cut these Easter Peeps labels with plain ole scissors or a circle punch if you have one. Do a fit check and make sure that your label fits under the ring of the mason jar lid and isn’t too big or too small.
STEP TWO- Fill up the Mason Jar with Easter Treats
Fill your Ball Quilted Crystal 4 Ounce Jars OR Ball Quilted Crystal 12 Ounce Jars with chocolate mini eggs. You could also use the foil wrapped chocolate eggs or ANY Easter candy or treat.
STEP THREE- Close Jar and Add Ribbon
Close the jar with the label attached to the lid. Cut a length of bunny or chick themed Easter ribbon and cut a triangle out of each end of the ribbon for a special touch. Wrap the ribbon around the top of the jar and finish with a knot. If you find the ribbon is slipping you can add a small dab of hot glue on either side of the jar under the ribbon to hold it in place.
