How to Make Grinch Cinnamon Rolls Step By Step
STEP ONE – Add the rolls to the baking pan

This heavy cream addition is the viral Tik Tok cinnamon roll hack for making AMAZING Cinnamon rolls straight out of the can.
STEP TWO – Make the brown sugar mixture
Technically the cinnamon rolls have what they need to be called cinnamon rolls but we want to take these up a notch and add LOTS of extra tasty goodness. SO, grab a small bowl and mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and 4 tablespoons of butter until combined. Pour this mixture over the top of the rolls and cover the pan with foil. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.
STEP THREE – Make the icing
In a microwave-safe bowl, soften the rest of the 4 tablespoons of butter and 4 ounces of cream cheese. Melt for 30 seconds and whisk together until combined. Add the 2 packets of icing that are included with the Grands canned cinnamon rolls.
Whisk in the powdered sugar and then add green gel food coloring. Start with just a few drops until you get that perfect GRINCHY GREEN color.
STEP FOUR – Spread the icing & decorate!
Pour the icing all over the top of the cinnamon rolls. Don’t forget to add those green candy sprinkles & red heart candy sprinkles on top to make it extra GRINCHY! You can store these Grinch cinnamon rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 days. You can store them the fridge for 3-5 days
Cinnamon Roll Pro-Tips:
- This recipe works best with the Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls but you can use any flavor from the Grands line that you like.
