Free Christmas Gift Tag Printable Craft Supply List
- Printable Glossy Sticker Paper Matte Sticker Paper OR Card Stock
- Red & White Bakers Twine
- Fiskars Circle Cutter or Scissors
- Straight Line Paper Cutter
- Single Hole Punch
- Sharpie Paint Pens
- Free Printable Gift Tags (see end of web page below)
I printed out these gift tags on card stock so that they would be stiffer than plain ole paper (and more like store bought gift tags. I used bakers twine to secure them to the gifts.
I don’t know about you but I’m TERRIBLE at cutting circles so I use a circle cutter to get a perfect circle every time. You can use scissors to cut out the square tags or a paper cutter if you have one. A hole punch is recommended for cutting the perfect hole for the bakers twine to go through.
I use Sharpie fine point paint pens to write names on my gift tags. I used to use cheap paint pens until I found out that these Sharpie paint pens existed. There is no comparison with any of the paint pens I’ve used in the past! Take a minute or two to practice writing with the Sharpie on a scrap piece of card stock before writing on the actual tag.
I hope you love these FREE printable Christmas Gift Tags as much as I do! Please leave me a comment below and vote on your favorite gift tag. Wow, everything about this is really well done. Love the tags themselves (#3 is my favorite) but the photography of them on actual gifts, instructions, and calls to action with pinning/sharing – I’m impressed! Great job!
Thanks Laura! I’m delighted that you enjoyed the post! I’m just starting to offer free printables so getting your feedback is a huge help!
These tags are extremely beautiful and well designed! Really love them all, would buy them to put on my gifts in a heartbeat. If I had to pick a favorite, I would go with #7, simply because I enjoy tags that I can write on with my name and the name of the person I am giving it to, but #3 is a very close second. Well done!
I’m just starting to offer free printables so getting your feedback is a huge help! Seems like #3 is popular! Thanks again for stopping by!
These are stunning. I love them. You did an amazing job on the tags, but not just that, also your blog post too. Shared to Facebook!
Thanks so much for your support Tracy! You’re a doll!
These are so beautiful! It’s hard to pick a favorite, because I love them all. But if I have to choose one, it’s #2. And I love the post and the pictures. It’s so great to see the tags on the gifts. I shared this post on my Facebook page and pinned it too.
Thanks so much for your support Cristina! I’ve been to your site before and I love your work!
Hello Lisa, thanks for sharing this with us. I will have to save this for next year because my wife still has a bunch left from last year. Have a Great Day and keep up the Good work!
Thanks Mark! Glad she enjoyed it!
These are all beautiful! But if I have to choose just ONE, I pick #3. It has beautiful script and just enough color so it’s not JUST black and white but not so much that it appears too busy for such a small space. I can’t wait to see what new ones you come up with! 😁
Thanks April! I’m just starting to offer free printables so getting your feedback is a huge help! #3 is really popular! Seems like we need a dedicated sheet for that one!
Love them all but if I have to pick #3 #7 are my faves. Thank you for the gift, Merry Christmas.
#3 – if tags measure 2″ wide they would fit perfectly in a Stampin’ Up® tag maker punch; which would allow the top of the tag to be shaped and a hole punch, both in one motion
I Love them all. But #2 shines a bit brighter. Thank You
I love that one too! Thanks for stopping by to check’em out!
I love all the tags but #4 is my favorite!
They are all beautiful but #4 is my fave!

Too hard to pick just one that I liked the most, but I did manage to get down to 2 of them. Love #2 and #3. Thank you!
Thank you, lovely tags, I really #3
I most especially love #5
