It’s nearing that oh so magical time of year to get your home tidy for spring cleaning. If you’re anything like me….pantry clutter has reached a fever pitch. I’m completely fed up with the bags of flour, sugar and cornmeal cluttering up my kitchen shelves.
My kitchen pantry is open to the viewing public 95% of the time. I don’t know how many times in the past year that I’ve walked by that hot mess and said “dang…I really gotta do something about this!”.
So I’m FINALLY getting around to this project. I purchased a large selection of pickle jars from Amazon in various sizes (from .5 gallon to 1 gallon). I Iove the vintage, farmhouse look of these (reminds me of an old general store)….you can find these highly reviewed jars HERE on Amazon.
So, I sat down to create some beautiful, farmhouse style labels I absolutely love. As it turns out I like a lot of different label styles! I’m still struggling to decide my favorite here but maybe you can help!?!? I’d love to get your vote on which free printable kitchen pantry label is your favorite! Having your vote also helps me tailor future content that readers like you will love!
Free Printable Kitchen Pantry Labels Printing Instructions
Believe it or not these labels are super easy to print at home! Just print the category page you want onto white glossy self adhesive sticker paper (if your kitchen container is white) or clear glossy self adhesive sticker paper (if your kitchen container is clear, or an odd color like mine) and cut out with a pair of scissors. Your lines don’t have to be pretty or perfect if you’re using clear glossy self adhesive sticker paper…it’s really forgiving.
While you can print on matte self adhesive paper we don’t recommend it for two reasons. First, the matte sticker paper is NOT cleanable and absorbs food splatter that can be flying around your kitchen. If you print on plain, matte self adhesive paper chances are you’ll be replacing the labels in a matter of weeks. Also, matte paper absorbs a lot of ink and washes out the true color of our images.
The white glossy self adhesive sticker paper or clear self adhesive sticker paper we recommend has a glossy, impervious, cleanable surface and it’s the only two products we used for these free printable kitchen pantry labels.
The free labels we’re providing are large (roughly 3×5 inches on average) because we’re using them for glass pickle jars but they are easy to resize for just about any container. Here is an example of how we resized for some smaller counter top canisters we have:
Simply open a word document (or Google doc) and insert our kitchen label jpeg image. Resize the image (by pulling on the corners of the image) to fit whatever container you wish to add a kitchen label to.

First, let me say that I use a ton of ink for my business and for crafting (I’m looking at you Cricut print and cut projects). I used to be very cautious of what I print because of the CRAZY expensive cost of printer ink.
That was until I found a company on Amazon that will provide triple the ink for less than half the cost of original manufacturer’s ink. That’s like getting a ton of FREE INK! The company is called EZ Ink on Amazon and if you want to see if they carry your brand click here to search for your printer cartridges at the top of the page.
I was skeptical at first (even after reading TONS of these 4 & 5 star reviews (which you can read for yourself here) but I’ve been using the ink for a year now and there is no difference in print quality or color.
I’m not a representative of this company by any means…I’m just trying to help a fellow crafting/printable addict save a little money. I only talk about products that I use and believe in. If they can save some serious bucks it’s even better. So check them out HERE and see if they can save you some money!
I hope that you enjoyed these free printable kitchen pantry labels! I can’t wait to finish organizing my kitchen and pantry with these! Don’t forget to help us out by voting on your favorite type of label! It really helps us tailor future FREE printables toward what our readers love!
