What Should I Print These Digital Papers on?

The best type of paper to use for printing digital paper greatly depends on its ultimate application, but in most cases, you’ll want to opt for paper that’s thicker than your everyday printer paper. For most crafting needs, starting with medium to heavy cardstock (around 110 lb) is a good choice. This is because digital paper usually demands a significant amount of ink, especially if the background color isn’t white. An excessive ink load could lead regular paper to buckle or warp, which can impact the aesthetics of the final product.

Is a Special Printer or Particular Print Settings?

You don’t need a specialized printer, however, modifying your print settings to “high quality” is beneficial. This adjustment ensures the paper is fed slowly through the printer, thereby preventing lines and gaps during printing and ensuring a superior quality print. If you are using glossy cardstock or sticker paper, consider selecting “glossy photo paper” as your paper type, along with choosing “high quality”.
