Last week, our freebie was back to school planner stickers. That project really got me thinking about all those warm and fuzzy feelings I used to have about going back to school and that oh so magical season of fall. I remember how excited I was to go back to school every fall. Admittedly, I was kind of a nerdy kid but I can’t be alone…right?
I love the moderately cool weather, watching the trees change color, decorating with pumpkins from the local pumpkin patch and most of all the start of football season! I love the colors, the clothing and the decorations of the entire season! This was the inspiration for our free fall Happy Planner stickers.
You find some botanical influences throughout these pages (thanks botanical Happy Planner). I tried to design this weeks printables to stand alone in a weekly or monthly design. I never get tired of buffalo plaid/check anything! I’ve included a few daily boxes that are just buffalo check.
There’s a pretty limited color palate this week….lamp black, pumpkin orange and fall brown. We have lots of beautiful fall related quotes, pumpkins, fall leaves, football and pumpkin spice latte packed into this weeks free printable fall planner stickers.
We have extra LARGE stickers this week with a mix of several coordinating fonts. I love this loopy, feminine script font which I haven’t used before. I’ve been inspired by hand lettering and caligraphy after ordering this super cheap, totally awesome beginners hand lettering book. I’ve been practicing like crazy! But until I perfect it….I’m loving this font!
We hope this weeks free printable fall happy planner stickers and that they remind you of all the beauty, change and renewal that fall brings every year. As always I love to hear what you think….leave me any of your thoughts below in the comments section at the bottom of this page.
Note! Variation in color occurs from one printer to another. Your free printable fall planner stickers may from mine!

Okay, now I’m going to show you how to print these Fall/Halloween stickers out at home. You will need to purchase printable sticker paper if you don’t already have some on hand.
Silhouette Clear Printable Sticker Paper
Avery White Printable Sticker Paper
Royal Elements Glossy Printable Sticker Paper
Highly Recommended- Fiskars Straight Line Paper Cutter
Fiskars Fingertip Craft Knife or Scissors
Optional- 1.5 x2.4 “Classic” Box Punch
Being the free printable junkie that I am I have tested several sticker papers that I can wholly recommend for these stickers. Let me tell you, I’ve tested a lot of cheap, crappy sticker paper in my time and I’ve found only three that deserve my trust.
There are several cheapy brands out there but the problems with them are numerous. I’ve experienced massive paper jams, papers labeled as “clear” but they are actually not, smudged ink that never seems to dry and sticker paper that doesn’t even stick!!! What tha’ heck! Hey sticker paper….you had one job to do (be a sticker) and you couldn’t even do that!!?!?
Let me save you the hassle and point you to three different types of great paper. One is the Silhouette Clear Printable Sticker Paper which actully is CLEAR. Not kinda clear….but actually clear. This paper is great for printing out stickers for layering purposes. As an example, maybe you want to put a hat and a scarf on an existing dog sticker…this would be a good application of clear sticker paper.
Another tested and trusted paper is the Avery White Matte Printable Sticker Paper if you want a MATTE sticker. If you want a glossy, the Royal Elements Glossy Printable Sticker Paper is the way to go and it’s my personal favorite. f you’re a part of the Happy Planner movement you are probably accustomed to using both clear and white stickers in the sticker books. I think either are great and it’s the application that will probably decide which you want to use.

It’s important to note that these PDF stickers need to be printed out on an inkjet printer! DO NOT USE A LASER JET PRINTER! Laser jet printers use high heat and may melt the clear printable sticker paper (which are made mostly of plastic). Although the white printable sticker paper is not made of as much plastic it may also melt! Most at home printers are ink jet so this probably won’t be a problem…but double check to make sure!
You’ll also need to adjust the paper settings on you printer before printing. After pressing the print button go to the setting area. Look at the paper options and choose something along the lines of “matte photo paper” or “other photo paper”. There isn’t a sticker or label printing setting on my computer but if that’s available then choose that (I don’t have that on my software).
You’ll need to pick a thicker paper setting so that your printer accounts for this thick paper. It will also be sent a message that it’s printing something high quality and will print the stickers as such.
Obviously you can use plain old scissors to cut out any of these stickers. BUT if you’re OCD like me and want nice, straight lines I highly recommend that you use a straight line paper cutter. They are pretty inexpensive and they really make the difference when cutting the washi tape strips and rectangle shaped day stickers. This really inexpensive Fiskars model is highly rated on Amazon.
I have an older than dinosaurs (and ways about as much as a dinosaur) office sized paper cutter that I use. I found it, unluckily some would say, at Goodwill in the office supply section.
I’ve just recently purchased a Fiskars Fingertip Craft Knife which is way easier to manipulate than traditional x-acto knives. It’s easier to achieve rounded, artistic cutting lines for some of the non-square or non-symmetrical stickers. Here is what they look like in use:
One other option is to use the “classic” style box punch for the rectangular stickers. You can also use the box punch for pictures or cutting out scrapbook paper…so if you decide to invest in one there are some pretty cool applications for them beyond cutting out printable stickers.
First, let me say that I use a ton of ink for my business and for crafting (I’m looking at you Cricut print and cut projects). I used to be very cautious of what I print because of the CRAZY expensive cost of printer ink.
That was until I found a company on Amazon that will provide triple the ink for less than half the cost of original manufacturer’s ink. That’s like getting a ton of FREE INK! The company is called EZ Ink on Amazon and if you want to see if they carry your brand click here to search for your printer cartridges at the top of the page.
I was skeptical at first (even after reading TONS of these 4 & 5 star reviews (which you can read for yourself here) but I’ve been using the ink for a year now and there is no difference in print quality or color.
I’m not a representative of this company by any means…I’m just trying to help a fellow crafting/printable addict save a little money. I only talk about products that I use and believe in. If they can save some serious bucks it’s even better. So check them out HERE and see if they can save you some money!
