Calling all bookworms- you gotta download our free printable bookshelf reading log for 2022!  You can log over 30 books in you planner or bullet journal using this super cute template.  You can color in each book you read…it’s like an adult coloring page!  If you read more than 30 book just print out a second, third or fourth page!

Just like you I’ve been stuck at home during this very long quarantine (since March 3rd to be exact) but I’m keeping myself entertained!  I’m making lots of stickers for you guys (like these “cancelled” event stickers and my quarantine bucket list stickers) and I’m getting in a record amount of books logged!

I love reading books on my Kindle when I have a few moments to relax and decompress before bed.  While I love reading on my Kindle…I find I have less and less time to actually sit down and physically read a book (as much as I would like to).  But, I found a happy medium and that is Kindle Unlimited Audio Books!

I feel like Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited subscription helps me up my productivity level because I’m learning something new (I like business and financial books personally) while I’m also getting something else important done.  With the weather improving I can listen to audio books while I’m in the garden or taking care of chores around the house.

My Kindle Unlimited Subscription gives me access to unlimited books, audio books and tons of magazines!  Oh, and you don’t have to have Kindle…you can download their app to any device to listen or view books.

So, if you (or someone you love) is bored sick of quarantine (or teetering on the edge of complete insanity) check out the 30 day unlimited FREE trial Amazon is offering!  That means unlimited books, audio books AND magazines!  You can use it yourself or gift it to someone else ready to pull their hair out!

I 100% attribute my quarantine sanity with my ability to keep my mind and body occupied.  So, if you find yourself with more time than sanity these days give their free trial a shot!

Okay fellow bookworms, lets check out this FREE printable bookshelf reading log! This is a spin off a very popular DIY bullet journal page known as the ” bullet journal bookshelf ” or the ” bookshelf reading log “. Usually, these are completed by hand using pen! But we’ve saved you tons of time by making one for you that you can print out in jiffy!

And before you go today be sure to check out our FREE printable reading journal which makes a great companion to this bookshelf reading log!

You can upload our bullet journal books to read printable into the web based program Picmonkey if you want to digitally overlay text like we did above.  I also like to color in my books and plants with colored pencils as I go but that’s totally optional!

How To Resize, Print & Punch This Bookshelf Reading Log:

This FREE printable bookshelf reading log is A4 full 8.5 x 11 sheet but they can be resized to fit just about any planner (Happy Planner, Erin Condren, Filofax, Franklin, Arc etc)  using THIS print resizing guide (this is also a pin on Pinterest that you can save for later to your planner boards for reference).

You’ll need to adjust your printout higher or lower using the print settings function on your computer.  There should be a setting to adjust (by percentage) higher or lower within the print set up window.  You may need to experiment a little bit but it is possible to shrink or enlarge these files easily during the printing process.

If you plan on putting this bookshelf printable in your discbound Happy Planner you’ll want to punch them with the Mambi 9 Hole Punch.  For Ring-Bound Planners (such as Filofax), I recommend using an adjustable 6-hole paper punch so that it can punch many different planner sizes.  If you have a spiral bound planner like the Erin Condren then you’ll want to use this adjustable hole punch.

I also recommend that you print this bullet journal reading log on matte card stock if you think you might be moving this around in your Happy Planner significantly.  The holes you will need to punch will degrade after repeated removals if you use plain printer paper.

I hope you love this super cute, FREE printable bookshelf reading log as much as I do!  We are in the process of adding a ton of planner printables to our library so stay tuned!  Please leave me a comment below and let me know what you think so I can tailor future content for you!  Tell me what planner inserts you’d like to see in a future release.  There’s a good chance I’ll find a way to fit it in!  You can also make a request on our Totally Free Printables Facebook Group

We’re making free planner inserts (like this bullet journal book log), stickers, divider tab printables every week so if you don’t want to miss a FLASH freebie or printable then join our thousands of email subscribers by leaving us your name and email at the bottom of this page.  You’ll get access to our HUGE free printables library instantly!

I absolutely love this. I might have to print it out monthly though x like you I have kindle unlimited (what a godsend) and I use it religiously as I am disabled/chronically ill so spend a LOT of time reading. So far this year I’ve read 332 books. X

I love being able to see all the books that I have read and being able to share my thoughts with others. Now to have a place to put them in my journal that is amazing, thank you for sharing.
