Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 120 Minutes (Includes Setting Time)
Makes: 12-15 Pieces
INGREDIENTS:
2 c white chocolate morsels
2 c semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 cup Wilton red candy melts
1/2 cup Wilton white candy melts
Other Helpful Tools:
9×13 Baking Pan
Parchment Paper
Microwave Safe Bowls
Silicon Scraping Spatula
How to Make Red White and Blue Bark Candy Step by Step!

1. Make the Chocolate Bark Layer
Line a 9 x13 baking pan with parchment paper. This will make the chocolate bark easy to remove later and prevent sticking.
First, melt the semi-sweet chocolate morsels. You can do this using the double boiler method over the stovetop or melt in the microwave. If using the microwave, use 30-second bursts and stirring between each cycle until the chocolate is smooth.
Allow the semi sweet chocolate layer to harden completely before moving on to the next step. You can speed up this process by placing the baking dish in the refrigerator for a few minutes.

2. Make the White Chocolate Layer
Melt the white chocolate morsels using the same method as before. Once melted, pour it over the hardened semi-sweet chocolate layer. Make sure the layer has completely hardened before proceeding to the next step.

3. Melt the Red, White & Blue Candy Melts
Okay, this is probably the trickiest part of this whole process. These melting chocolates can often times harden more quickly than we can work. So as you go through the process of adding the red, white and blue candy melts to the hardened layers you’ll need to work quickly! This is so that we can marble our chocolate (while it’s still melty) and create that eye catching, unique red white and blue pattern.
Working quickly, melt the Wilton red candy melts, white candy melts, and blue candy melts candy melts in three separate bowls- preferably in the microwave as that will go much more quickly and time is of the essence!

4. Add Red, then White Then Blue Candy to Hardened Chocolate Layers
Using a spoon, drizzle and spread around (horizontally) the red candy melts across the hardened chocolate layers. Then quickly drizzle the white candy melts (horizontally) and finally the blue (horizontally). Working quickly before the candy melts, use a toothpick to marble the chocolate by dragging the toothpick up and down (vertically) through all of the red, white and blue candy melt layers (see image below).

4. Add Sprinkles, M&Ms, Pretzels or ANY Toppings You Like!
Working quickly, evenly sprinkle Red, White and Blue Sprinkles, Red White and Blue M&Ms or any toppings you you like before the candy bark sets! This is a great point to get the kids or family involved in the process.
Allow the candy bark to harden completely at room temperature. Gently lift out the red white and blue candy bark using the parchment paper. You can break the bark into pieces using your hands or a long butcher knife.
If you have any leftovers you can store them in an airtight container for about 2 weeks. Place in the freezer or refrigerator to extend the shelf life by a few weeks. We offer a FREE printable version of red white and blue bark candy recipe below for your convenance.
