How to Make a DIY Easter Gift Step by Step
Below are the step by step, written directions are below. I love how this Easter paper craft turned out! It’s perfect for gifting to classmates and friends. It’s a great Easter coloring activity for kids, tweens and teens.

STEP ONE- Print our Easter Coloring Pages & Trim to Size
Print out our cute, Easter coloring pages onto Premium Heavy Cardstock (download can be found at the end of this tutorial). You can use a local print shop if you don’t have a printer at home for a small cost.
We provide you with three unique Easter themed designs in your download. You can use our Cricut cutting machine cut files to do a “print and cut” in Cricut Design Space OR just cut these Easter baskets with a Trim and Score Board and plain ole scissors.
I have to warn you that cutting the round handles are a bit challenging- so if you have a Cricut cutting machine you may want to use it on this project. It will save you SO much time (especially if you are doing a LOT of these for a classroom activity, church activity or to spread around the kid’s Easter brunch table.
Before you proceed to the next step you’ll need to color in your Easter basket completely! Make sure you are happy with it before you assemble it because there really isn’t a way to assemble and then color!

STEP TWO- Fold the Easter Basket
I’m using a Trim and Score Board & the included bone folder (because I like nice, straight and efficient folds). All of the dashed lines are where you need to fold. There are red lines and red x’s to illustrate where you should cut or remove material. It should look a little something like the image above and below when it’s all folded.

STEP THREE- Assemble Easter Basket and Glue Together
Create the basic basket shape by adding Beacon 3 in 1 Glue quick setting glue to the area where you see the paste tab on the side of the basket. Hold in place until the glue has completely set. Then fold in the bottom of the basket and paste to the inside of the box using the past tab. Hold in place until the glue has fully set. It should look like the image below when complete.

STEP FOUR- Stuff Your Easter Basket With Treats
Stuff your Easter basket with a handful of Easter Grass Basket Filler. You can add whatever Easter Basket Stuffers or Sweet Treats you like. It can be chocolate bunnies, a small toy, Homemade Marshmallow Easter Peeps or Brightly Colored Dyed Easter Eggs. Get creative with it!
