This Oreo dirt Cup in a Bag recipe makes 5 bags (the 6th bag will be crushed for topping). You can easy double or triple this recipe to make much, MUCH more if needed!
You can make ahead some of the components (like the pudding), but I’d wait until you’re ready to eat to fully assemble because the Oreo cookies can get soggy if you let them sit for too long.
EASY Walking Dirt Cups Recipe
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 5 Bags
Chill Time: 5 Minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 (3.4 oz.) Box Chocolate Instant Pudding Mix
2 Cups Milk
1 Tub Whipped Cream (Can also use canned)
15 + Gummy Worms
Other Helpful Tools:
Taco Holders (Will Hold Bags Upright)
How to Make EASY Walking Dirt Cups Step by Step!

1. Make the Instant Pudding
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Chocolate Instant Pudding Mix and milk. Stir until smooth. Move the pudding to the refrigerator for 5 minutes to fully set up.

2. Set Up the Oreo Bags
Open your Mini Oreo Snack Pack Bags and fold over the top of the bag like you see in our photos (this will help the bag stay open and not get in the way as you eat). You can also place them in Taco Holders so they’ll stay upright while you assemble.

3. Add Pudding
Once pudding has fully set, divide it equally among the Mini Oreo Snack Pack Bags. This will simulate the mud!

4. Add Toppings
Add the cool whip or homemade whipped cream to a piping bag with a swirl frosting tip. Add a healthy swirl of whipped cream into each of the bags (you can also use canned whipped cream in a pinch).
Take the remaining mini Oreo snack pack bag and crush the Oreos inside. Spread the crushed Oreos among the bags so it looks like dirt. Place several gummy worms so they look like they are crawling out of the bag. Place a spoon in each bag and serve!
PRO-TIP: Making your own homemade whipped cream is pretty easy if you want to tackle it! Add 1/2 cup heavy cream and 2 Tbsp powdered sugar to your stand mixer with a whisk attachment. Whisk beat the mixture until stiff peaks form. You can also whisk by hand or use a hand mixer.
